Overview

The senior group of our combined 3rd and 4th-grade Ukrainian language class follows a simplified version of the Ukrainian school curriculum. Since lessons are held once a week, the primary focus is on building strong language skills, developing communication abilities, and enriching vocabulary.

The program includes the following sections: review, sentence structure, word formation, parts of speech, text analysis, and speech development. By incorporating various teaching methods—such as group activities, language games, and creative exercises—students not only learn linguistic concepts but also enhance their critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

This approach helps to optimize the learning process and fosters the development of practical language skills, even within a limited time frame. Lessons take place in a friendly and creative environment, where students can enjoy learning. Teachers, in turn, find inspiration when working alongside students on creative challenges, which strengthens trusting relationships and creates a positive learning experience for everyone involved.
